Table-toppers Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will look to continue their dominant run when they take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur, in Match 57 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Wednesday, May 13.
Both teams have had a contrasting season so far. RCB are riding high on confidence after knocking Mumbai Indians out of the playoff race in their previous encounter and currently sit comfortably at the top of the points table. KKR, meanwhile, have endured an inconsistent season and will be desperate to keep their playoff hopes alive heading into the business end of the competition, having won four matches on the trot.
The rivalry between RCB and KKR has always produced thrilling contests in the IPL over the years. KKR hold the historical advantage with 20 wins compared to RCB’s 15. With several global T20 stars featuring on both sides, the upcoming clash also presents players with an opportunity to achieve significant personal milestones.
