IPL 2026: RCB vs MI, Match 54: Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will want to return to winning ways when they take on five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Raipur, in Match 54 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Sunday, May 10.
Both sides come into the game after facing the Lucknow Super Giants in their previous matches. While RCB suffered a shock defeat against the team at the foot of the standings, MI secured a comfortable six-wicket win against the Lucknow-based outfit at the Wankhede Stadium earlier this month. Despite the win, MI are still ninth in the points standings, needing a miracle of all ages to secure a playoff berth.
RCB and MI have some of the best T20 players in their ranks. With players playing the shortest format of the game all across the globe, thanks to the advent of franchise cricket, every game gives them a chance of achieving personal milestones. Hence, Match 54 of the IPL is no different.
