IPL 2026: Royal Challengers Bengaluru’s strongest predicted XI against Mumbai Indians

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) move out of the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and play at their new home at Raipur's Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium when they face Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match 54 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday, May 10.
The defending champions have just lost their way a little in the tournament, losing two matches on the bounce. Their most recent defeat came against the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana International Stadium.
Despite their recent dip in form, RCB still remain one of the favourites to secure a top-four berth and qualify for the playoffs. Rajat Patidar’s side has a balanced playing combination that does not need much cropping and changing, and as a result, they could once again name a side familiar to most cricket fans in the country.
Virat Kohli will once again be expected to open alongside Jacob Bethell, who generally is RCB’s designated impact sub player when they chase a total. The England all-rounder hasn’t had the best of times in the IPL this season, scoring just 43 runs from four innings. Devdutt Padikkal, meanwhile, has established himself at number three, scoring at a strike rate of 180.57 all season long.
