The Rajasthan Royals (RR) take on their western rivals, the Gujarat Titans (GT), in Match 52 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday, May 9. Both sides are in with a chance of securing a playoff berth, and a win would take them a long way to make it a reality.
RR come into the game on the back of a defeat at the hands of the Delhi Capitals on home soil. This was their second consecutive defeat in Jaipur, which means that their overall record reads three losses from their last five matches.
GT, on the other hand, are on a three-match winning run in the league and are level on points with RR and RCB, but sit outside the top four thanks to their relatively weak net run-rate. Their most recent win came against the Punjab Kings in Ahmedabad, winning by four wickets with just one ball to go.
With the abundance of T20 cricket being played across the globe, a plethora of players competing in RR vs GT are close to achieving a personal milestone.
