IPL 2026: SRH vs KKR, Match 45: Stats preview of players' records and approaching milestones

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in a crucial reverse fixture of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, set to take place at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on May 3.
SRH have been one of the standout teams this season, currently placed third on the points table with six wins from nine matches. Riding high on a five-match winning streak, they are brimming with confidence. The Hyderabad-based side had already outclassed KKR by 65 runs in their previous meeting and will aim to replicate that performance. Another victory here could propel them to the top of the standings, further strengthening their playoff chances.
On the other hand, KKR have endured a difficult campaign so far. The three-time champions find themselves in eighth place with just two wins from eight matches. A string of five consecutive defeats had severely dented their season before they finally managed to break the losing streak and get back on the board. While their campaign has been far from ideal, the recent win has injected a sense of renewed belief within the squad.
