Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are set to lock horns with Mumbai Indians (MI) in match No. 41 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Wankhede Stadium on Wednesday, April 29.
The Orange Army might have had a tough start to their campaign, losing three out of their first four matches. However, they have been on a four-match winning streak since then. In their most recent encounter, they made light work of a 229-run target against the Rajasthan Royals, chasing it in 18.3 overs with five wickets to spare.
Mumbai Indians, on the other hand, need to hit their straps, having faced five defeats in seven matches. The five-time champions are languishing in ninth position in the standings. In their last game, they were outclassed by arch-rivals Chennai Super Kings. The Men in Yellow amassed 207/6 in the first innings before dismissing Mumbai for 104.
Abhishek Sharma has been in surreal form and is the current Orange Cap holder. He has amassed 380 runs in eight innings at an average of 54.29 and a strike rate of 212.30. The southpaw has three fifties and one century to his name. Meanwhile, his opening partner, Travis Head, hasn't been at his best. The Australian batter is averaging just 23.25. Ishan Kishan has also played some fantastic cricket, carrying his form from the T20 World Cup. He has scored 312 runs in eight innings and is striking at 198.73.
