IPL 2026: Top 3 Sunrisers Hyderabad bowlers to watch out for

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) is one of the most featured batting sides at the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL), possessing hard-hitting stars like Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen in the ranks.
Therefore, it comes as no surprise that SRH’s bowling goes slightly under the radar. The Hyderabad-based side, however, comes into the new season having a core of their bowling from last season. These include some of the more experienced pacers in the tournament’s history.
There is no point in being able to score 220+ when you do not have the bowling to defend those huge totals. The SRH bowling unit therefore has a huge role to play in the forthcoming season.
Pat Cummins’ availability at the 2026 IPL remains a massive question mark, with the team announcing Ishan Kishan as their interim captain in the Australian’s absence. The 32-year-old would be SRH’s most important bowler once he is back from the sidelines. Cummins was SRH’s leading wicket-taker in 2025 with 16 scalps to his name from 14 matches at an economy rate close to 9.
The Australian captain, however, has not played a T20 since the last IPL and will come with little to zero game time under his belt. However, a fresh Cummins could be a dangerous addition to SRH’s bowling unit as the tournament heads into its business end. The 2016 champions, however, have some good players to replace the right-arm pacer in the form of Sri Lanka’s Eshan Malinga and English seamer Brydon Carse.
