IPL 2026: Video of the Day: Anukul Roy's double blow dents Delhi Capitals

The Delhi Capitals were able to manage just a total of 142/8 in their 20 overs after being put into bat by the Kolkata Knight Riders in Match 51 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
They started strongly in the powerplay but the Knight Riders spinners put the choke on the Capitals in the middle overs. A major moment in the innings came in the 11th over when Anukul Roy dismissed the set Pathum Nissanka and the dangerous Tristan Stubbs in the same over.
Nissanka, batting on 50, had just hit Roy for a boundary through covers after stepping out against a wide one. In the next ball, Roy pulled his length back, but bowled it outside off stump. Nissanka fell for the bait and was beaten, failing to reach the pitch of the ball to be stumped by Angkrish Raghuvanshi.
Three balls later, he got Tristan Stubbs bowled through the gate off an arm ball. Stubbs was beaten on the angle, trying to punch the ball off the back foot. Stubbs' wicket meant the Capitals were reeling at 89/5. Roy finished the innings with figures of 2/31 in four overs after being given the responsibility of bowling two powerplay overs.
