IPL 2026: Video of the Day: Mohammed Siraj’s three-wicket burst leaves CSK shell-shocked

Gujarat Titans pacer Mohammed Siraj made an immediate impact against Chennai Super Kings in Match No. 66 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the Narendra Modi Stadium on May 21.
Siraj struck on the very first ball of the innings, dismissing Sanju Samson with a delivery shaping away outside off stump. Samson attempted a loose drive away from his body but managed only a thick outside edge, which was safely collected by wicketkeeper Jos Buttler.
The right-arm pacer continued his fiery spell in the third over. After Ruturaj Gaikwad smashed him for a six, Siraj responded brilliantly on the very next delivery with a shorter-length ball around off stump. Gaikwad failed to pick the length as the ball sneaked under his bat and crashed into the off stump.
Siraj then added another wicket in the same over by dismissing Urvil Patel. Bowling a length delivery around middle and leg, he induced a mistimed whip shot from the batter. The ball went high towards deep square leg, where Prasidh Krishna completed a fine catch to leave CSK under early pressure.
