Punjab Kings captain Shreyas Iyer was in sublime touch against Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow, on May 23 in IPL 2026. The right-handed batter played some breathtaking strokes during his unbeaten century that kept PBKS alive in the playoff race.

In the 10th over of the chase, Iyer showcased his class with a stunning boundary through backward point. Given ample width by the bowler, he waited patiently, played the ball late, and expertly beat the sweeper cover fielder in the deep.
