The 18th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2025) has reached its grand finale. The much-anticipated final of IPL 2025 will see Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) clashing with Punjab Kings (PBKS) on Tuesday, 3rd June at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. This time, the IPL will be a historic one as a new champion will be crowned.
The final was originally slated to be held at Eden Gardens in Kolkata, in honour of the IPL 2024 champions, but the venue was reassigned to Ahmedabad, following a 10-day suspension of the tournament due to cross-border tensions between India and Pakistan.
The opening ceremony of IPL 2025 featured a star-studded line-up, including Shah Rukh Khan, Disha Patani, Varun Dhawan, Shreya Ghoshal and Karan Aujla, which brought immense energy to the start of the season.
The closing ceremony will also be special, with renowned singer Shankar Mahadevan set to deliver a heartfelt tribute to the Indian armed forces. His performance will honour the brave soldiers involved in Operation Sindoor and pay respects to those who lost their lives in the tragic Pahalgam attack.
