Ireland (IRE) will meet England (ENG) in the second T20I of the series at The Village, Dublin, on Friday, September 19. With England leading the series 1-0, the second T20I offers them a chance to seal the contest. For the Irishmen, it is a must-win encounter to level the series and set up a decider in the third and final encounter.

The hosts showed promise with the bat in the opening match, posting a strong total of 196 for the loss of just three wickets. Harry Tector and Lorcan Tucker both registered half-centuries, laying the foundation for a competitive score. However, their efforts went in vain as Ireland fell short, losing the match despite their batting brilliance.
