Ireland are gearing up to host the West Indies for an exciting limited-overs cricket series starting May 21, 2025. This tour will feature three One Day Internationals (ODIs) followed by three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), offering fans a thrilling contest between two competitive sides.
The series kicks off at The Village in Dublin, a prominent cricket venue known for its capacity of 11,500 and floodlights that facilitate day-night matches. The Village has a reputation as a batting-friendly ground with an average first-innings score of 151 in T20Is, and it has hosted numerous international limited-overs matches, including Ireland’s only-ever Test match.
The West Indies team will face Ireland in a three-match ODI series starting May 21. All three ODIs will be played at The Village, Dublin, on May 21, 23, and 25 respectively. These matches will test the teams’ skills in the 50-over format and set the tone for the shorter format contests to follow.
Following the ODIs, the focus will shift to the fast-paced T20I series in June. The three T20I matches are scheduled for June 12, 14, and 15, and will take place in Magheramason, Bready. This venue is known for its lively atmosphere and will provide an exciting stage for the explosive T20 format.
