Vaibhav Suryavanshi gave Ubaid Khan a mouthful and subsequently slammed him for an exquisite boundary during the first innings of the India A versus Pakistan A clash in the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 tournament.
After Irfan Khan won the toss and opted to bowl first, the in-form Suryavanshi, coming off a blistering century against the UAE in the last game, got off to a flying start yet again at the West End Park International Cricket Stadium in Doha on Sunday, November 16.
During the third over, right-arm pacer Ubaid bowled a delivery which was not timed properly by Vaibhav. The ball went in the air and then found the cover fielder after a bounce. The bowler said something which prompted the 14-year-old to give a feisty reply.
Return to Virat Kohli era Indian pitches: Former opener
"Ball Dalna, Ja Ball Daal (Just Bowl, Go and Bowl)," Vaibhav was heard saying on the stump mic. And in the very next delivery, the Bihar batter played a sumptuous shot over cover and held his pose as the ball reached the fence in a jiffy. The Pakistani speedster was visibly rattled by Suryavanshi's batting prowess.
