Rohit Sharma rose through the ranks of Indian cricket, starting his career as a middle-order batter before reinventing himself as an opener, a move that transformed his game and unlocked his true potential. Over time, he became a regular across all formats and went on to lead India.
He has since retired from Tests and T20Is but continues to be active and even captain the ODI side. Across formats, Rohit has played 499 matches so far, scoring over 19,700 runs with 49 international centuries, including the highest-ever individual score in ODIs, 264. His centuries against various oppositions tell the story of his dominance in world cricket. With that said, let us have a look at all his international centuries by the countries he scored the most of them against.
Against Afghanistan, Rohit has scored two centuries, one in ODIs and one in T20Is. In the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup, he smashed 131 runs off just 84 balls to guide India to a successful chase. Earlier, in T20Is, he produced a brilliant unbeaten 121 from 69 balls in a thriller that went into two Super Overs, with India eventually emerging victorious.
