Litton Das believes Bangladesh are well-prepared for the upcoming Asia Cup. Bangladesh are placed in Group B alongside Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Hong Kong.
The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) organised a pre-series fitness camp in Dhaka before relocating to Sylhet for a skill-based camp before the commencement of their recent international assignments. Litton credited the above for their recent purple patch.
"I believe we are well prepared for the Asia Cup. I had said from the very beginning, the camp we did was not just for this series. It was also to make sure we are ready for the series (Asia Cup) ahead. I have never seen such a good camp. Fitness can be done in Mirpur as well, but the kind of practice we wanted to do was only possible in Sylhet. So I feel, overall, this journey was really good for us. Overall, I felt everything was positive," stated Litton, as quoted by Cricbuzz.
Bangladesh won their recently-concluded series against Netherlands by 2-0, winning the first game by eight wickets and the second one by nine wickets before the third and final one was washed out. The 30-year-old shed light on the impressive performances of the top-order and opined that the batting department was in a "good place".
"Of course, it would have been better if more batters had got a chance, but the important thing is we won convincingly in the first two games. That's a good sign heading into a big event. The fact that not all our batters needed to bat shows how well the top-order was doing. In the Asia Cup, there will come a day when everyone has to bat, and that's fine but right now, it shows we're in a good place," he noted.

Bangladesh lost four wickets in their third match against Netherlands before the match was washed out due to incessant rain with only 18.2 overs bowled in the first innings. Litton had emerged as the top-scorer with 73 off 46 to his name.
