Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 2026: Final, KBB vs SMY Match Prediction – Who will win today’s match between KBB and SMY?

The Kalyani Bengaluru Blasters (KBB) will battle it out against the Shivamogga Yodhas (SMY) in the Final of the 2026 Maharaja Trophy KSCA T20 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, July 12. Neither team has lifted the title in the past.

The Blasters have been the dominant force in the 2026 season, topping the table and beating the Coastal Kings Mangaluru in Qualifier 1. They defended a total of 185 in a nervy clash, prevailing by 12 runs. This is their third finals appearance, having lost in 2022 and 2024, respectively.

The Yodhas made their way to the finals from the Eliminator, first beating the Mysore Warriors by seven wickets before chasing down a total of 144 against the Coastal Kings despite an early wobble in Qualifier 2. They are playing in their first final and take on a team that has beaten them twice this season.

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru is one of the finest batting venues in the country. The flat wicket and short boundaries make run-scoring significantly easier in these conditions. Despite this, games have been low-scoring, with bowlers able to find much help off the surface. The wicket has favoured hit-the-deck bowlers, with spinners also getting help from the conditions. With this being an evening game, the effect of dew is also set to be profound.

Luvnith Sisodia is currently the tournament's highest run scorer with 378 runs from 12 matches at a strike rate of 159.49. Scoring four half-centuries, the southpaw has been a solid presence at the top of the order, providing his team with blistering starts. The Yodhas will be relying on the wicketkeeper-batter for one final push in the summit clash.

The Yodhas' left-arm seamer Abhilash Shetty has been the leading wicket-taker in the 2026 season. He has picked up 17 wickets in 10 matches this season, bowling at an economy rate of 8.06. He has set the tone early with the ball for his team, and comes into the summit clash on the back of a brilliant performance in the Eliminator, where he picked up figures of 3 for 14 in a Player of the Match performance.
