Match 15, ST W vs PS W Match Prediction – Who will win today’s WBBL match between Sydney Thunder Women vs Perth Scorchers Women?

Sydney Thunder Women (ST W) are all set to face Perth Scorchers Women (PS W) in match No. 15 of the Women's Big Bash League (WBBL) 2025 at the Drummoyne Oval in Sydney on Wednesday, November 19.
The Thunder's have had a terrible start to their Women’s Big Bash League campaign. The Phoebe Litchfield-led team is currently on a three-match losing streak and is still searching for their first win of the season. Holding the seventh position on the points table, the Sydney-based franchise will look to put on a strong show.
On the other hand, the Perth Scorchers have had a relatively better season so far, winning two out of four games played. The team will be riding high on confidence as they come off a win over Adelaide Strikers and will look to play in the same fashion.
The pitch at the Drummoyne Oval is not a typical batting-friendly one. Run-scoring is considered a challenge with the new ball. This can lead the captain winning the toss to bat first and hope for the team batting second to crumble under pressure and the variable bounce on offer.
Georgia Voll, Tahlia Wilson(w), Phoebe Litchfield(c), Heather Knight, Chamari Athapaththu, Anika Learoyd, Laura Harris, Lucy Finn, Taneale Peschel, Shabnim Ismail, Samantha Bates
Beth Mooney(w), Katie Mack, Sophie Devine(c), Mikayla Hinkley, Freya Kemp, Paige Scholfield, Alana King, Chloe Ainsworth, Ruby Strange, Lilly Mills, Amy Edgar
Perth Scorchers Women's all-rounder Beth Mooney is third on the list of leading run-scorers of the ongoing WBBL. So far, she has scored 139 runs in four matches at a strike rate of 146.31. She has been phenomenal in the ongoing season and will be hopeful to keep up with the form and continue her team's winning momentum.
Sydney Thunder Women's Shabnim Ismail could be the bowler to watch out for in the upcoming contest against the Perth-based team. She has bagged six wickets in three matches and has been her team's best bowler in this season so far. Ismail will once again have the responsibility to pick wickets at regular intervals.
