The contrast with standard international cricket at Edgbaston is notable. Adult tickets for England's Test against Pakistan at the same ground in September 2026 range from £57.50 to £87.50 and had not sold out, illustrating how significantly Ashes demand inflates pricing relative to other home fixtures.

The 2023 Ashes series drew a combined attendance of more than 545,000 across all five matches. Australia won the opening two Tests, at Edgbaston and Lord's, before England fought back to level the series, which finished 2-2.
