Mohammed Siraj produced a patient and precise spell of swing bowling to dismiss Ravindu Rasantha by LBW during the three-day warm-up fixture between India and Sri Lanka XI.

Siraj shaped the ball away from the right-hander with four consecutive outswingers, building pressure delivery by delivery, before bringing one back in sharply to trap Rasantha in front of the stumps. The dismissal ended Rasantha's innings at 8 runs off 16 balls.

Jadeja fifty keeps India on front foot in warm-up match

The dismissal took place on Day 3 of the warm-up match, August 9, 2026, with the fixture having begun on August 7 in Colombo.
