MPL T20 2026: Match 28, RJ vs GC Match Prediction – Who will win today’s MPL T20 match between Rewa Jaguars vs Gwalior Cheetahs?
Rewa Jaguars (RJ) face Gwalior Cheetahs (GC) in match No. 28 of the ongoing Madhya Pradesh T20 League at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Monday, June 15.
Prithviraj Singh Tomar's Rewa Jaguars find themselves at No. 2 on the points table. They have three wins and two defeats after playing five matches. The Jaguars are heading into this match on the back of a five-wicket win in a high-scoring thriller against the Ujjain Falcons.
Meanwhile, the Rajat Patidar-led Gwalior Cheetahs are stationed at No. 4 in the standings, despite winning the same number of matches as their upcoming opponents. This is because their net run rate is way lesser than that of the Jaguars. Rajat Patidar and Co. defeated the Bundelkhand Bulls in their last game by 23 runs.
The Holkar Stadium is a fantastic batting surface. Only a handful of matches have been low-scoring. Even in the last game played at the venue, a 232-run target was chased down with five wickets and an over to spare by Rewa Jaguars. It is better to chase on this wicket as defending a target isn't going to be easy.
Prithviraj Singh Tomar (C), Akshat Raghuwanshi, Radhakrishna Dwivedi, Rohit Rajawat, Anant Verma (WK), Mohd Arham Aquil, Ashwin Das, Atharv Mahajan, Ankit Kushwaha, Sagar Solanki, Ramveer Gujjar.
Kartik Parihar, Parth Chaudhary, Saumy Pandey, Kuldeep Gehi, Rajat Patidar (C), Vikas Sharma (WK), Arpit Patel, Mangesh Yadav, Ishan Afridi, Akash Raghuwanshi, Anubhav Agarwal.
Rajat Patidar has carried his form from the IPL to the Madhya Pradesh T20 League. He has amassed 187 runs in five innings at an average of 37.40 and a strike rate of 220. If he gets set at the crease, it will be difficult to dislodge him.
Ishan Afridi is going to be the bowler to watch out for on Monday. The right-arm seamer has picked up 10 wickets so far at an average of 20.50 and a strike rate of 11.40. His economy rate is on the higher side (10.79) but as long as he can keep taking wickets, skipper Patidar won't mind.
