MPL T20 2026: Match 5, UF vs MS Match Prediction – Who will win today’s MPL T20 match between Ujjain Falcons vs Malwa Stallions?

Ujjain Falcons (UF) face the Malwa Stallions (MS) in match No. 5 of the ongoing Madhya Pradesh T20 League at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Friday, June 5.

Chanchal Rathore-led Ujjain Falcons started their campaign on a high as they comprehensively defeated Gwalior Cheetahs in the curtain raiser. On the back of Madhav Tiwari's all-round heroics, the Falcons posted 221/6 before dismissing the opposition for 129.

Meanwhile, the Malwa Stallions, led by Ashutosh Sharma had a rough start to the season. In their opening encounter, they were outplayed by the Chambal Ghariyals, who won by six wickets, chasing down a 155-run target with six wickets and 26 balls to spare.

In the first three matches held at the Holkar Stadium in Indore this season, the average first-innings total has been 183. The pitch has been quite good for batting. The power play overs will be crucial for both teams in each innings. The team batting first will have to post a total over 180 at least.

This will be the first encounter between Ujjain Falcons and Malwa Stallions in Madhya Pradesh League. Therefore, the head-to-head is 0-0.

Yash Dubey, Chanchal Rathore (C & WK), Ojaswa Yadav, Madhav Tiwari, Shubham Kushwah, Ankur Singh Chauhan, Aryan Pandey, Rishi Miglani, Adheer Pratap Singh, Aayush Mankar, Gajendra Goswami.

Pankaj Sharma, Ansh Yadav, Aryan Deshmukh, Rakesh Thakur (WK), Parth Sahani, Rishabh Chauhan, Ashutosh Sharma (C), Prashant Kasde, Aditya Mishra, Hashwardhan Singh, Vineet Rawat.

Ashutosh Sharma, who is the captain of the side, batted at No. 7 in the last game and scored just one run off four balls. He is too good a batter to be coming in at No. 7. In the Indian Premier League, he plays the role of a finisher which comes naturally to him. However, in MPL, he has to take more responsibility. If he bats higher up the order, Ashutosh could be the batter to watch out for.

Madhav Tiwari had a dream of a time in the last game. He scored an unbeaten 62 off 31 balls and followed it up by dismissing Kuldeep Gehi in the first over. Tiwari returned at the back end of the innings and dismissed Akash Raghuwanshi to end the match. The seam-bowling all-rounder will want to continue this form which he has carried into this tournament after an impressive IPL campaign.
