MPL T20 2026: Match 7, IPP vs JRL Match Prediction – Who will win today’s MPL T20 match between Indore Pink Panthers vs Jabalpur Royal Lions?
Indore Pink Panthers (IPP) square off against Jabalpur Royal Lions (JRL) in match No. 7 of the ongoing Madhya Pradesh T20 League at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Saturday, June 6.
Venkatesh Iyer-led Indore Pink Panthers started their campaign with a 27-run defeat to defending champions Bhopal Leopards on Thursday. The Leopards posted 174 in the first innings before dismissing the Panthers for 147.
Meanwhile, Jabalpur Royal Lions will be playing their first game of the season. They were unlucky last season, finishing fifth after winning two out of their six matches. The Lions will look to get their campaign off to a winning start.
Batters are expected to have another field day at the Holkar Stadium in Indore on Saturday. In the first four 20-over matches, the average first-innings score has been around 189. Meanwhile, the 18-over-per-side encounter between Gwalior Cheetahs and Bhopal Leopards yielded 428 runs across the two innings.
Atharv Joshi (WK), Siddharth Patidar, Karan Tahliyani, Venkatesh Iyer (C), Sidhant Agravwal, Anvesh Chawla, Saransh Surana, Shubham Rathore, Shivam Shukla, Vishnu Bhardwaj, Roshan Kewat.
Ritik Tada, Abhishek Bhandari (WK), Rahul Batham, Pankaj Patel, Vedant Awasthi, Akarsh Singh Parihar, Arpit Gaud, Akshat Dwivedi, Mihir Hirwani, Akshay Sharma, Aayam Sardana.
Venkatesh Iyer had a memorable campaign during the Indian Premier League. He helped the Royal Challengers Bengaluru successfully defend their title by playing some crucial cameos at the back end of the tournament. The southpaw was dismissed cheaply in IPP's first game of the season and would want to bounce back strongly on Saturday.
Mystery spinner Shivam Shukla was one of the most impressive bowlers last season. He picked up 11 wickets in just seven matches at an average of 16.73 and an economy rate of 8. Shukla will have a key role to play through the middle overs.
