National Cricket League T10 2025: Match 2, Chicago CC vs Houston Generals CC Match Preview

Chicago Cricket Club lock horns with Houston Generals Cricket C in match No. 2 of the National Cricket League T10 (NCL) T10 2025, at the University of Texas Dallas, on Sunday, October 5.

Defending champions Chicago Cricket Club will look to begin their campaign on a strong note. They have assembled a strong squad which can go the distance once again. Stars like Sam Billings and Wahab Riaz could play key roles for them.

Houston Generals, on the other hand, also have some renowned players in their ranks like Tom Abell and Jason Behrendorff, among others. The Generals are making their debut in this edition of the NCL. They will want to get off to a winning start, that would set them up nicely for the games to follow.

The University of Texas Dallas Ground could offer a fair contest between bat and ball. The surface could be a bit sticky and hitting shots on the up might not be very easy. Fast bowlers can also get a decent amount of assistance. The captain who wins the toss could opt to bat first and put on a huge first-innings score.

This is going to be the first meeting between the two teams as Houston Generals didn't play in the inaugural season.
