National Cricket League T10 2025: Match 3, New York Lions CC vs Los Angeles Waves CC Match Preview

New York Lions CC square off against Los Angeles Waves CC in match No. 3 of the ongoing National Cricket League T10 (NCL) T10 2025 at the University of Texas, Dallas, on Sunday, October 5.

Los Angeles Waves finished second on the points table after registering three wins and two defeats from five games last season. They lost to Chicago CC in Qualifier 1 and Atlanta Kings in Qualifier 2 to crash out of the competition. This season, they would like to go the distance.

On the other hand, New York Lions finished second from the bottom after the end of the league phase last season. They had two wins and three defeats to show for their efforts. Some solid additions have bolstered the side ahead of this season. They will want to get off to a glorious start on Sunday.

There could be some variable bounce on display at the University of Texas, making batting tough. Bowlers could be seen using the slower balls to good effect. The captain who wins the toss could opt to bat first and aim to put the opposition under scoreboard pressure.
