Dallas Lonestars CC (DL) lock horns with Houston Generals CC (HGC) in Qualifier 1 of the National Cricket League T10 (NCL) 2025 at the University of Texas at Dallas on Sunday, October 12.

Both teams were at their best during the league stage. Dallas won four out of their five league games and topped the points table. The Samit Patel-led team will be looking to play the same brand of cricket they have played throughout the season, and get a direct entry to the summit clash.

Meanwhile, the Houston-based team finished second on the points tally, after winning three out of five games played. The winner of Qualifier 1 will straightaway walk into the finals, while the losing team will have one more shot at the trophy, as it will play Qualifier 2 against the winner of the Eliminator.

While T10 cricket is known for fours and sixes and a lot of runs, the surface at the University of Texas, Dallas has produced a fair contest between bat and ball, which is refreshing to watch. Winning the toss and opting to bat first could be a great ploy, as chasing hasn't been very easy in recent games.
