New Zealand (NZ) will look to seal the series when they face South Africa (SA) in the fourth T20I at Sky Stadium, Wellington, on Sunday, March 22.
The Kiwis have taken a 2-1 lead in the five-match series after wins in the second and third T20Is. They defeated South Africa by 68 runs in Hamilton and eight wickets in Auckland. This was after the Proteas won the first T20I in Mount Maunganui by seven wickets.
The Black Caps have looked more skillful, especially with the ball. The inexperienced South African side has crumbled under pressure. However, with their backs against the wall, expect the team from the Rainbow Nation to go for the jugular.
The Sky Stadium in Wellington is a great venue for batters. The boundaries are on the shorter side. Fans can expect a high-scoring encounter, especially with the kind of ball strikers present in both teams.
Devon Conway, Tim Robinson, Tom Latham (WK), Nick Kelly, Mitchell Santner (C), James Neesham, Bevon Jacobs, Cole McConchie, Lockie Ferguson, Kyle Jamieson, Ben Sears.
Tony de Zorzi, Connor Esterhuizen, Wiaan Mulder, Jason Smith, Rubin Hermann (WK), Dian Forrester, George Linde, Nqobani Mokoena, Gerald Coetzee, Keshav Maharaj (C), Lutho Sipamla.
Devon Conway is on top of the list of leading run-getters in the series. In three innings, he has aggregated 100 runs at an average of 33.33 and a strike rate of 125. He has played the anchor's role to good effect, allowing the big hitters to bat around him.
The New Zealand skipper has made good use of his experience. He has bowled in critical situations and picked up five wickets in three matches at an average of 9.60. He will be the bowler to watch out for on Sunday.
