Pakistan’s cricketing flair is set to light up Hong Kong as Abbas Afridi has been named captain for the upcoming Hong Kong Sixes 2025, a fast-paced tournament celebrated for its explosive action and thrilling finishes.
The event will take place at the Tin Kwong Road Recreation Ground from November 7 to 9, with the national side departing for Hong Kong on November 5.
The 12 participating teams have been divided into four groups of three, with Pakistan placed in Pool C alongside India and Kuwait. They will open their campaign on Friday, November 7, aiming to make a strong statement in the group stages.

Meanwhile, India will be led by Dinesh Karthik, with R Ashwin also part of the squad, adding star power to an already electric lineup. The team has yet to announce their squad for the marquee event.
