Pakistan Women take on Zimbabwe Women in a three-match One Day International (ODI) series, commencing on Monday, May 4. The first game of the series takes place at the National Stadium in Karachi.
Pakistan come into the home series following a 2-1 series defeat by South Africa away from home. They did, however, win the last game of the series by 119 runs in Durban.
Zimbabwe, on the other hand, suffered a 3-0 series defeat at the hands of New Zealand in convincing fashion. The African outfit will be hoping for a better showing in Pakistan to bounce back from disappointment in Oceania.
The pitch in Karachi is generally known for being one where batters enjoy playing due to the flat nature of the surface. With Karachi situated in the sub-continent, one can also expect the spinners and other slow bowlers to come into the game as the day progresses. The captain who wins the toss will want to bat first and make the most of the conditions at hand.
Gull Feroza, Sidra Amin, Ayesha Zafar, Sadaf Shamas, Fatima Sana (C), Aliya Riaz, Najiha Alvi (WK), Nashra Sandhu, Syeda Aroob Shah, Tasmia Rubab, Momina Riasat

Nashra Sandhu picked up five wickets from three ODIs against South Africa. The 28-year-old has 116 wickets from 85 ODIs and bowls at an economy rate of just 4.37.
