Table of Contents
Prabhsimran Singh, the energetic wicketkeeper batter of Punjab Kings (PBKS), recently shared his all-time Indian IPL XI, a revelation that quickly sparked debates among fans and experts. Known for his fearless batting in domestic cricket and the IPL, Prabhsimran’s choices reflect a mix of admiration for legends and his own reading of what makes a great T20 side.
Top and middle order
Speaking with CricTracker, he named his dream team, surprising many by leaving out a few big names while focusing on impact players and versatility. At the top, he picked Chris Gayle and Virender Sehwag. Gayle, who once set the IPL alight with Punjab Kings, is remembered for his sheer power and ability to win matches on his own. Sehwag, another aggressive opener, changed how fans viewed batting at the start of an innings with his fearless strokeplay. At number three, Prabhsimran chose Virat Kohli, who is the leading run scorer in the world toughest league. Suryakumar Yadav followed at number four. The right-hander is currently leading the Indian side in T20Is. Adding further Prabhsimran slotted AB de Villiers at number 5, bringing the ability to play anywhere and turn a game around in a few overs.
Wicketkeepers and all-rounders
When it comes to all-rounders he added Hardik Pandya and Kieron Pollard down the order. Pandya is seen as the ideal modern all-rounder with his explosive hitting and seam bowling, while Pollard, a long-time Mumbai Indians legend, is remembered for winning titles and producing match-winning knocks over more than a decade. Behind the stumps, MS Dhoni took his place as wicketkeeper and captain. For Prabhsimran, Dhoni’s calm leadership and unmatched finishing ability made him an automatic choice.

Bowlers
The bowling attack was led by Jasprit Bumrah who famous for his deadly yorkers and consistency in crunch situations. Alongside him was Lasith Malinga, the Sri Lankan great whose unique action and wicket-taking ability made him one of the most feared bowlers in IPL history. For spin, Prabhsimran went with Yuzvendra Chahal, the league’s highest wicket-taker, known for his clever variations and match awareness.
