PBKS vs MI: IPL 2026 Records and Stats at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium, Dharamshala

Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in Match No. 58 of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Thursday, May 14, at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamshala.
The Kings come into this clash on the back of four successive losses after starting the season unbeaten in seven games. This is their second home game in Dharamshala, with the first resulting in loss to the Delhi Capitals on May 11. With 13 points in 11 games, they need to rack up victories to ensure that they are able to make the playoffs after the recent drop in form.
Mumbai Indians come into this clash being eliminated from the tournament after recording their eighth loss of the season against RCB in Raipur on May 10. Despite early promise and a star-studded unit, they were unable to pick up results. They will be playing for pride and will look to finish their season on a high note.
The HPCA Stadium in Dharamshala has historically been one of the best batting venues in the country. The black-soil wicket is hard and offers consistent bounce, with the ball coming onto the bat quite comfortably. The high altitude means the ball travels in the air much quicker, making this one of the better six-hitting venues in the country. Seamers get significant lateral movement in the air and off the surface with the new ball.
The Shreyas Iyer-led side is coming off four losses in succession and is in dire need of a reversal of fortune if they are to make the playoffs. The five-time champions, on the other hand, have been eliminated from IPL 2026 and will be looking to finish their season on a high with victories in their remaining games.
These two teams met at the Wankhede Stadium on April 16, where the Kings emerged victorious with a dominant seven-wicket win. Being put in, the five-time champions scored 195 for 6 in their 20 overs, with Quinton de Kock scoring a magnificent 112 off 60 balls in his first game back for MI. The Kings made light work of the chase with Prabhsimran Singh scoring an unbeaten 80 off 39 balls and Shreyas Iyer scoring a 35-ball 66.
