The Rawalpindiz (RAP) lock horns with Islamabad United (ISL) in match No. 12 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Saturday, April 4.

Debutants Rawalpindiz have not had the best of starts in PSL 2026. They have started their campaign with consecutive five-wicket defeats to Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings. The Mohammad Rizwan-led side will be desperate to get off the mark on Saturday.

On the other hand, Shadab Khan's Islamabad United have had three games already. They lost to Multan Sultans by five wickets before their game against Peshawar was abandoned due to rain. In their most recent clash, they got the better of Quetta Gladiators by eight wickets.

The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has hosted all the games so far in PSL 2026, and the tracks have been phenomenal for batting. In the last three matches, the average first-innings score has been around 202. Still, all three games were won while chasing. Expect the captain who wins the toss to bowl first. The team that gets to bat in the first innings will have to look to post a total of at least above the 200-run mark.

This will be the first-ever fixture between the two teams.

Mohammad Rizwan (C & WK), Yasir Khan, Abdullah Fazal, Kamran Ghulam, Sam Billings, Daryl Mitchell, Cole McConchie, Rishad Hossain, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Amir, Amir Khan.

Devon Conway, Sameer Minhas, Andries Gous (WK), Shadab Khan (C), Mark Chapman, Haider Ali, Faheem Ashraf, Imad Wasim, Chris Green, Salman Mirza, Salman Irshad.

Shadab Khan looked in stunning form in the last game against the Quetta Gladiators. He scored an unbeaten 69 off just 39 balls to take his team to victory. The experienced all-rounder will look to lead from the front once again on Saturday.

Shadab Khan hasn't just done remarkably with the bat, but like a proper all-rounder, he has contributed nicely with the ball as well. In two games, he has accounted for five wickets at a mind-boggling average of 11.80. The 27-year-old will have a key role to play through the middle overs.
