Lahore Qalandars (LAH) face Karachi Kings (KAR) in match No. 35 of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2026 at the Gaddafi Stadium on Thursday, April 23.

Shaheen Afridi's Lahore Qalandars have won four games and lost as many after playing eight. On the other hand, Karachi Kings have won three and lost five after playing eight games.

As for the Qalandars, they are coming into this clash on the back of two consecutive wins. On the other hand, the Kings are on a five-match losing streak.

These two teams played earlier in the season, when the Kings defeated the Qalandars by four wickets in a low-scoring encounter.

The Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore has produced quite a few high-scoring encounters this season. Chasing would be the more favourable option here as the conditions do not change much. The new ball will be crucial for both teams as early wickets could be key.

Shaheen Afridi, meanwhile, is the second-highest wicket-taker so far in PSL 2026. In eight games, he has accounted for 14 wickets, leading his team from the front. The left-arm seamer will have a crucial role to play, especially with the new ball.
