Rivaba Jadeja, BJP MLA and wife of India’s star all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja, has ignited a major controversy with her recent public remarks alleging that ‘other players’ in the Indian cricket team engage in ‘wrong activities’ during overseas tours. The comments—made during a local public event in Gujarat—have quickly escalated into a national talking point, raising questions about player conduct and the intent behind her statements.

In her address, Rivaba highlighted the professionalism of her husband, praising him for his discipline and lifestyle while travelling for international assignments. She noted that Jadeja is often required to visit countries like England, Australia, and the UAE for cricketing duties, and lauded him for “never indulging in any form of vice or intoxication,” describing him as a role model for young athletes.

However, it was her subsequent comments that triggered widespread uproar.
