RCB vs GT: IPL 2026 Records and Stats at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru

The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) take on the Gujarat Titans (GT) in Match 34 of the 2026 Indian Premier League at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 23.
The defending champions were handed their first loss at home this season by the Delhi Capitals on Saturday, April 18. They have been one of the form teams of the 2026 IPL and will be hoping to return to winning ways in what will be their last home game of the league season at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. They will play their final two league home games at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium in Raipur.
The Titans come off a whopping 99-run loss against the Mumbai Indians at the Narendra Modi Stadium on Monday, April 20. They were on a three-game winning streak prior to the loss against MI and will also be looking to get back to winning ways, but face the challenge of victory at one of the IPL's most daunting venues.
The Chinnasawamy Stadium is one of the IPL's most prominent batting paradises. The black soil pitch is traditionally flat, even with the ball coming onto the bat. The wicket aids fast bowlers early with lateral movement and is notably conducive to hit-the-deck bowling. Even though the wicket offers grip for the bowlers, it is sometimes negated by the shorter boundaries and fast outfield.
The last game here between RCB and DC saw a low-scoring thriller where the spinners dominated. The Capitals' tweakers choked the RCB batters, restricting them to just 175/8. The Capitals were rattled early, with Bhuvaneshwar Kumar picking up three wickets in the powerplay, but managed to chase the total down in the final over.
The two teams have met six times in the IPL, having won three times each. The defending champions will hope that their loss against the Capitals was just a blip on the road. They have been one of the teams to beat in the 2026 season, and will be expected to return to winning ways, in what is their last league game in Bengaluru.
The Titans recovered their season after a slow start, but were dented in their progress by the Mumbai Indians. They boast one of the more feared bowling attacks in the tournament, and will be looking to their top three of Sai Sudharsan, Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler to fire. The trio had an off-day against the five-time champions, which prompted a significant batting collapse.
