Rohit Sharma reveals premiere date for his debut television show Family Full House

Star India batter Rohit Sharma is set to make his television debut with a family entertainer show titled Family Full House with Rohit Sharma, which will premiere on September 19, 2026. The announcement was made on Monday, August 31, 2026, confirming both the show title and the premiere date simultaneously.

Sony TV, the official broadcaster of the show, shared the news across its platforms on August 31, creating buzz around the show set to be hosted by the veteran Indian cricketer. Rohit reshared the post, notifying his fans about the premiere date.

"Aapka 19th September ka plan humne set kar diya hai. See you there 😉," Rohit captioned the announcement post on his official social media handle.

The announcement was accompanied by a promotional video offering a first glimpse of the show.

Notably, Family Full House with Rohit Sharma is described as a family entertainer format, with the former India captain at its centre. The show marks his first venture into the television entertainment sector. No confirmed information is available on episode count, episode duration, co-hosts or guests. Rohit's exact role on the show, whether as host, participant or in another capacity, has not been specified either.

Notably, the Indian opener is set to feature next against the West Indies in a One-Day International series at home. While the BCCI is yet to officially announce the squad for the white-ball series, but Rohit looks certain for a return to competitive cricket. The series is slated to begin on September 27. If picked, he will headline the squad alongside senior batter and erstwhile skipper Virat Kohli.

Later in the year, Rohit is also set to travel to New Zealand for a three-match ODI series against the BlackCaps.

Rohit last featured for the Men in Blue in the home ODIs against Afghanistan, where he had also smashed a big century in the third game, as the Indians whitewashed the visitors.
