RR vs DC: IPL 2026 Records and Stats at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur

The Rajasthan Royals (RR) play their second game at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium when they take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) in Match 43 of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) on Friday, May 1.
The inaugural champions suffered defeat at the hands of the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their previous game in Jaipur despite Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s century in the first innings. They did, however, beat the Punjab Kings by six wickets in their last game played in New Chandigarh to return to winning ways.
DC, on the other hand, are currently on a three-match winless run in the tournament and are languishing in seventh position, with six points to their name. Their most recent loss came against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru when they were bowled out for just 75 whilst batting first.
Both RR and DC met just once last season, with the match in New Delhi ending in a tie before the Capitals prevailed in a Super Over. Their last meeting at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium was in March 2024, when RR secured a 12-run victory, with current captain Riyan Parag scoring an unbeaten 84 to win the Player of the Match award.
The Sawai Mansingh Stadium is well-renowned in the IPL for chasing. In the tournament’s history, 64.62 per cent of games are won by sides that have batted second. The pitch generally gets easier to bat on under the lights, making it an easy decision for toss-winning captains to bowl first.
In the only game played here this season, SRH chased down a formidable total of 229 with nine balls to spare.
Both RR and DC are well-balanced sides with contrasting forms heading into their game on Friday evening. The Capitals have a powerful top-order, which will go up against the in-form Jofra Archer, who continues to remain a menace with the new ball. RR’s batting has started to click in recent matches, and they are not overreliant on their destructive openers. They will come up against DC’s spin attack, comprising captain Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav, who have taken seven wickets each.
RR and DC have an inseparable head-to-head record in the IPL. Out of a total of 30 matches played between the two sides since 2008, both sides have 15 wins each against one another. DC, however, have won three out of their last five meetings against the Jaipur-based outfit.
