'Some decisions from DC are questionable' - Irfan Pathan slams Axar Patel and Co. after loss to CSK

Irfan Pathan questioned the Delhi Capitals' move to bat first after winning the toss in the game against the Chennai Super Kings on Tuesday, May 5, at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
At the toss, Axar Patel opted to bat first citing that the pitch could slow down in the second innings. However, it was the Capitals who got off to a leisurely start, with Pathum Nissanka and KL Rahul taking time to settle in. The Super Kings' bowlers were excellent as they gave very few freebies and built continuous pressure on the home side.
The Capitals slumped to 69/5 in 11 overs before Tristan Stubbs, Sameer Rizvi, and Ashutosh Sharma played gutsy knocks to take the team to a respectable total of 155/7. The hosts did pick up two early wickets, but Sanju Samson (87*) and Kartik Sharma (41*) took the Men in Yellow home in 17.3 overs.
Pathan slammed the Capitals' decision to bat first at the same venue where they were bowled out for 75 a few days ago against the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. The former India all-rounder said that the Capitals would have to win all their remaining games to have a chance of reaching the playoffs. He concluded by calling Axar and Co. a good team.
"Some decision from Delhi are questionable. Batting first on the same ground where just recently you batted first vs RCB n got 75 all out. Need to win all the games now. Hopefully they come back stronger. I still think DC is a good team," Irfan Pathan wrote on his official 'X' (formerly Twitter) handle.
