South Africa’s selection panel has announced a full-strength squad for their upcoming white-ball tour of India, with Temba Bavuma leading the team for the three-match ODI series and Aiden Markram returning to captain the T20I side. The tour will take place from November 30 to December 19, 2025, with crucial series ahead of next year’s T20 World Cup in India.
ODI captain Bavuma will once again take charge of the South African side in the three-match ODI series from November 30 to December 6, with the matches scheduled in Ranchi, Raipur, and Visakhapatnam. This series will be an important test for the Proteas as they continue to build towards the 2027 ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
The inclusion of Rubin Hermann, the North West batter who made his ODI debut against Pakistan earlier this month, is a noteworthy addition to the squad. This series will give the squad a chance to sharpen their skills and solidify their combination as they look to fine-tune their plans for the next World Cup.
Temba Bavuma, Ottneil Baartman, Corbin Bosch, Matthew Breetzke, Dewald Brevis, Nandre Burger, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Rubin Hermann, Keshav Maharaj, Marco Jansen, Aiden Markram, Lungi Ngidi, Ryan Rickelton, Prenelan Subrayen.

Markram will lead the South African side in the five-match T20I series against India from December 9 to 19. The series holds significant importance as it offers the Proteas a chance to solidify their squad and combination ahead of the 2026 T20 World Cup. Markram’s leadership, combined with the return of key players like Anrich Nortje, will be pivotal as South Africa looks to refine their T20 plans in the competitive Indian conditions. Nortje, who missed the previous T20I tours due to injury, makes his return to the squad, providing South Africa with an experienced and potent fast-bowling option in the shortest format.
Aiden Markram, Ottneil Baartman, Corbin Bosch, Dewald Brevis, Quinton de Kock, Tony de Zorzi, Donovan Ferreira, Reeza Hendricks, Marco Jansen, George Linde, Kwena Maphaka, David Miller, Lungi Ngidi, Anrich Nortje, Tristan Stubbs.
