South Africa Women vs India Women Prediction, 1st T20I – Who will win today’s match between SA W vs IND W?

South Africa Women (SA W) face India Women (IND W) in the first T20I in a five-match series on Friday, April 17. This encounter is set to be played at Kingsmead, Durban.
Laura Wolvaardt and Co. last played a T20I series against New Zealand last month. In the away tour, the Proteas lost 1-4 in a five-match T20I series to the White Ferns. South Africa would want to bounce back strongly against a strong Indian contingent.
The Women in Blue will be quietly confident about their chances of succeeding in the Rainbow Nation. In their last T20I assignment, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co. defeated the mighty Australians 2-1 Down Under in February.
Kingsmead in Durban is usually a seamer-friendly venue. There is a significant bounce with seam movement, especially when the ball is new. However, the ball should come on nicely onto the bat. Batters should look to give themselves a bit of time instead of going hammer and tongs from ball one.
Laura Wolvaardt (C), Tazmin Brits, Anneke Dercksen, Sune Luus, Sinalo Jafta (WK), Chloe Tryon, Nadine de Klerk, Kayla Reyneke, Ayabonga Khaka, Tumi Sekhukhune, Nonkululeko Mlaba.
Smriti Mandhana, Shafali Verma, Jemimah Rodrigues, Harmanpreet Kaur (C), Deepti Sharma, Richa Ghosh (WK), Arundhati Reddy, Shree Charani, Kranti Gaud, Shreyanka Patil, Renuka Thakur.
Smriti Mandhana scored 129 runs across three innings against Australia. She will hold the key for India at the top of the order. If Shafali Verma gets going, Mandhana will have the chance to get herself set at the crease before going for the extravagant shots.
Using her bulk of experience, Ayabonga Khaka turned out to be South Africa's highest wicket-taker in the series against New Zealand. She bagged eight wickets in four games at an average of 15.38. Her spell with the new ball will be crucial on Friday.
