Sri Lanka Women vs Pakistan Women Prediction, 2nd T20I – Who will win today’s match between SL W vs PAK W?

After a brilliant start to the series opener, Sri Lanka Women (SL W) will once again be up against the might of Pakistan Women (PAK W) in the second T20I of the three-match assignment, which will be played at the Rangiri International Cricket Stadium in Dambulla on Sunday, August 02.

Sri Lanka Women got off to an excellent start in the first match of the series, registering a clinical win against the visitors. They now have a chance to gain an unassailable lead and clinch the series if they manage to secure a win in the upcoming contest. The Chamari Athapaththu-led side will be high on confidence to beat the Pakistanis in the second match.

Pakistan Women, on the other hand, have looked quite pale. In the series opener, they did put up a strong total on the board, however, lack of intent from bowlers ended up in a leakage of runs, as the Lankan Lionesses chased the 177-run target with an over and six wickets to spare. In order to keep the series alive, the Women in Green will have to secure a win on Sunday.

The pitch at the Rangiri Dambulla International Stadium is usually known to boast spin-friendly tracks. However, the track is supposed to get better for scoring runs once the cracks open up. While bowlers are likely to dominate in the first half of the match, the batters are expected to find it relatively easier to get going in the second innings.

Imesha Dulani, Chamari Athapaththu (C), Vishmi Gunaratne, Harshitha Samarawickrama (WK), Hasini Perera (WK), Kavisha Dilhari, Nilakshika Silva, Rashmika Sewwandi, Sugandika Kumari, Kawya Kavindi, Chamudi Praboda

Shawaal Zulfiqar, Muneeba Ali (C & WK), Eman Naseer, Eyman Fatima, Ayesha Zafar, Saira Jabeen, Umm-e-Hani, Waheeda Akhtar, Nashra Sandhu, Humna Bilal, Momina Riasat

Imesha Dulani showed a tremendous run of form in the first encounter, scoring a scintillating century to sail her team through to an emphatic win in Dambulla. Dulani will be expected to carry her form and score vital runs for the Sri Lankan side once again, as the hosts look to seal the series.

Kavisha Dilhari has been one of the premier bowlers for the island nation over the past few years. Her experience and skill set make her a lethal weapon with the ball. Dilhari will be confident and banking on her abilities to deliver a match-winning spell with the ball on Sunday.
