Tanzid Hasan Tamim scripts history with first Bangladesh Test ton in Australia

A record that had survived every Bangladesh tour of Australia since 2003 finally fell on August 14, 2026, when opener Tanzid Hasan Tamim reached three figures in the first Test at Marrara Stadium in Darwin. His 100 off 188 balls made him the first Bangladeshi batter to score a Test century on Australian soil, a milestone that had eluded the country across all previous visits.
