'Taste of his own medicine' - Murali Kartik's massive take on Virat Kohli after two-ball duck in LSG vs RCB clash

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) ended their six-match losing streak on Thursday, May 8, as they defeated defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) at the BRSABV Ekana Cricket Stadium by nine runs in a rain-curtailed 19-over-per-side clash.
One of the key moments from the match was Virat Kohli's dismissal for a two-ball duck in the second over of the second innings as RCB were chasing a 210-run target. Prince Yadav bowled a quick delivery that nipped back in sharply and castled Kohli.
After the end of the match, the talented LSG seamer revealed that he had used Kohli's advice to get his wicket.
"That wicket was completely according to plan. In fact, after the last match, I had spoken to Virat bhai himself, and he told me that as long as the ball is moving from a good length, there’s no need to change it. I trusted that advice, stuck to my length and line, and thankfully got the reward," the LSG pacer said during the post-match presentation.
Former India spinner Murali Kartik jokingly said that Prince gave the legendary batter 'a taste of his own medicine'.
"Taste of his own medicine. Prince Yadav left everyone surprised. Even Virat Kohli was left looking at himself and the pitch. I think he even asked the batter at the non-striker's end whether it kept low or not. But there was nothing like that about the ball," Murali Kartik said on Cricbuzz.
Former India batter Rohan Gavaskar described the delivery as stunning and mentioned that Prince will remember it for the rest of his career.
"You would have had fun if you were a fan of LSG or Prince Yadav. If you were a Virat Kohli fan, where is the fun? But it was a stunning delivery. Prince Yadav will remember this ball for the rest of his career," Rohan Gavaskar said.
Chasing the stiff target, the visitors finished on 203/6 in 19 overs. Prince starred with the ball, as he bagged a three-for. However, the Player of the Match award went to Mitchell Marsh, who had smashed a belligerent 111 off 56 deliveries in the first innings.
