Dhanashree Verma, Yuzvendra Chahal's former wife, has been accusing the star leg-spinner almost every other day in the OTT reality show "Rise and Fall". They were granted a divorce on March 20, 2025, by the Bandra family court in Mumbai, on a joint petition for mutual consent. The couple tied the knot in December 2020, but had been living separately since June 2022.
Amid Dhanashree's allegations, Shikhar Dhawan featured in a reel with his long-time friend Chahal. In the video, Chahal is heard being told in the background audio, "We'll get you married, son. Let me get married first." In this hilarious video, the leg-spinner is being portrayed as Dhawan's son.
Chahal, who looks shocked, asks, "Papa, are you married?" Dhawan's girlfriend Sophie Shine enters the fray. The former India opener says, "This is your third mother." Dhawan then gives Chahal, who has his hands on his head in disbelief, something to eat. This video went viral on social media in no time.
