The Hundred Men's 2026: Match 16, LNS vs SOB Match Prediction – Who will win today’s Hundred match between London Spirit vs Southern Brave?
Both the London Spirit and Southern Brave will want to bring some life to their seasons when they face each other on Saturday, August 1 at Lord's Cricket Ground in Northwest London in The Hundred 2026.
The Spirits have finally gotten off the mark this season after suffering back-to-back defeats in their opening two matches of the season. The team from the capital city secured victory over arch-rivals MI London in their previous outing.
The Brave, on the other hand, started the 2026 campaign with three consecutive defeats before turning the ship around against the Birmingham Phoenix, winning by 12 runs last time around. Both LNS and SOB occupy sixth and seventh spots in the points table, respectively.
The historic Lord's Cricket Ground offers conditions that slightly favour the batters. The dimensions of the ground are not the largest, helping batters get good value off their shots, which is also aided by the quicker outfield. The bowlers, however, are never completely out of the game due to the infamous slope present at the venue.
Lhuan-dre Pretorius, Kiran Carlson, James Coles, Liam Livingstone (C), Dewald Brevis, James Rew(w), David Willey, Jamie Overton, Adam Milne, Adam Zampa, Tymal Mills
Jamie Smith (WK), Ben McKinney, Marcus Stoinis, Tristan Stubbs, David Miller, Tom Abell, Chris Jordan (C), Saif Zaib, Adil Rashid, Luke Wood, Jofra Archer
LNS captain Liam Livingstone has carried forward his excellent form from the T20 Blast to The Hundred. The right-handed batter has scored 118 runs from three matches at an average of 39.33 whilst striking at upwards of 140. He is currently his side's leading run-scorer.
England veteran Adil Rashid continues to show his worth in the shortest format of the game. The spinner is currently his side's second-highest wicket-taker behind Marcus Stoinis with five scalps. Rashid's economy rate, however, sets him apart, conceding runs at just 6.22.
