India U19 will square off against Bangladesh U19 in match No. 7 of the U19 World Cup 2026 at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Saturday, January 17.

The Ayush Mhatre-led team had a good start to their campaign as they registered a six-wicket win via the DLS method in their season opener against USA U19. Having elected to bowl first, India's bowling attack ran through the opposition's lineup, bowling them out for 107 runs. Henil Patel was the pick of the bowlers, bagging a five-wicket haul. After repeated rain delays, the revised target was set to 96, which India chased down in 17.2 overs and opened their account in the points tally.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh U19 will be playing their first game of the competition. In the warm-up fixtures, unfortunately, both their games ended without a result. However, in the Asia Cup U19 tournament, the team managed to reach the semis of the event, but were eventually kicked out by the Pakistan U19 team.

The surface at the Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo is preferred by the pacers. With a past pitch, the batters would look to stay wary in the early stages of the clash. Opting to bowl first after winning the toss could be a wise decision.
