Jasprit Bumrah delivered a lethal yorker to get rid of Alishan Sharafu (22 off 17) in the fourth over of the ongoing Match No. 2 of Asia Cup 2025 between India and United Arab Emirates at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. UAE were eventually bundled out for 57 in 13.1 overs, after Bumrah gave India their first breakthrough in the all-important clash.
Bumrah got the last laugh over Sharafu who had scored a boundary off the final ball of the right-arm pacer's first over. The searing yorker beat the 22-year-old opening batter all ends up and for pace too. The UAE opening batter was late in jamming his bat to the turf as the ball crashed onto the off stump and the bails went flying all over the ground.
Bumrah finished with figures of 1/19 in three overs. The star performer of the show was left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav (4/7 in 2.1 overs). Shivam Dube contributed with a few wickets too. The all-rounder conceded only four runs in two overs, picking up three wickets with 10 dot balls bowled. The only India bowler to go wicketless was Hardik Pandya, who was assigned the first over of the innings.
