Video of the Day: Virat Kohli makes GT pay the price after Washington Sundar drops him on zero

Gujarat Titans scored 205/3 after being put into bat first at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Match 34 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026.
Chasing 206 to cap their Bengaluru leg of the season on a high, a key moment in the defending champions' innings came when the talismanic Virat Kohli was dropped on 0 in the first over by Washington Sundar off Mohammed Siraj's bowling.
Kohli, who was playing his first ball of the innings, flicked a length ball which looped off his bat towards Sundar, stationed at short mid-wicket. A regulation catch, Sundar was unable to get his hand on it and dropped the RCB batter, who has a reputation for leading the way in chases like this.
And in trademark fashion, Kohli made the visitors pay heavily. He scored a masterful 81 off 44 balls, which set the platform for the defending champions in their chase. During his innings, he became the third player to hit 300 sixes in the IPL and the first player to hit 800 fours in the IPL.
