Virat Kohli has once again found himself at the center of social media attention, with a fresh controversy sparking widespread discussion online. Back in 2025, Kohli had inadvertently liked a picture of Indian model and influencer Avneet Kaur, an incident that quickly went viral and prompted the cricketer to issue a clarification.
A similar situation appears to have unfolded again, as a like from Kohli’s profile was allegedly spotted on the Instagram account of model LizLaz. Within moments, screenshots of the interaction began circulating across platforms, turning what seemed like a minor activity into a major talking point. Fans have since flooded social media with reactions, with many attributing the incident to a possible algorithm glitch, similar to the explanation given previously.
The buzz surrounding the episode has also led to humorous reactions, with several users mocking the situation and speculating whether Kohli will once again address the matter publicly. While opinions remain divided, the incident highlights how even the smallest online activity by high-profile athletes can quickly escalate into widespread discussion.

On the field, however, Kohli continues to let his bat do the talking. The right-handed batter recently scored a composed 49 against Lucknow Super Giants, guiding Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) to a comfortable victory. He is currently leading the run-scoring charts with 228 runs in five innings at an impressive average of 57.
Kohli’s contribution in the Indian Premier League has been remarkable over the years. He has amassed 8,889 runs in 272 matches, including eight centuries and 65 half-centuries. His standout season came in 2016, when he scored a record-breaking 973 runs in just 16 matches. Notably, he has maintained exceptional consistency, crossing the 600-run mark in each of the last three seasons.
As for RCB, they are currently placed second on the points table with four wins from five matches. Their only setback came against Rajasthan Royals. They will next face Delhi Capitals on April 18 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium.
