Virat Kohli had some memorable moments in 2025, a year that will hold a special place in the hearts of his millions of fans across the world. Having retired from T20Is and Tests, the 37-year-old has continued to be a pillar at the top of the order for the Men in Blue in the 50-over format.
While 2025 had many highs and lows for the Indian team, whatever Virat Kohli touched turned to gold, both in international and domestic cricket. Virat Kohli dropped a bombshell midway through IPL 2025 when he called time on his Test career. The right-handed batter, who favoured five-day cricket over any other format, was expected to play a significant role during the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy. Kohli finished his Test career with a stellar record. He amassed 9230 runs from 123 Tests at a staggering average of 46.85. The veteran also smashed 31 half-centuries and 30 tons during his illustrious career in the red-ball format, stepping down as one of the most prolific batters of the modern-day era, which inspired millions of fans to watch Test cricket.
